Subject: How to hook Subie engine/computer to tach in VW instrument cluster
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-15"

I know how to get to the correct wire on the instrument cluster. I had a late model cluster in my '84 Vanagon. I posted some picture of the Subie computer on the SubieVanagon list, and the folks there identified the connections for me. None were for the tach. Looks like the mechanic who did the conversion left the junction box where the connection would go to the tach. Where do I get the tach signal from the engine.

Thank you,

John
