I don't have awning on my van but I witnessed some problem with the
Fiamma.. It was in Baja few years ago and one of the van has the Fiamma
Awning deployed... nice... a couple hours later a mild gust of wind took it
down, completely torn and the owner of the van had problem to retract it...

So be careful on how you mount it..
