Hi skip and others,

I know very little but I do want to share one thing. I had a shop replace the pads on my ATE and they tossed out the anti squeal shims with the old pads. Ken at Vanagain found me a replacement set. They can get stuck to the old pads and people don’t realize they are important and need to be reused.

David Beierl was kind enough to show me how to pull the pads from the calipers and when the shims arrived I installed and no more squeal.

Skip, hold onto those anti squeal shims!

Thanks again David! And this list and members are the best resource.
