Correct, that's what I was getting at. The NA version was badged Dodge or Freightliner due to ownership agreements, but other than gasoline versions 100% Mercedes with badging. The MB badging wasn't used here until Dodge was disconnected from the Sprinter deal. Any early ones floating around had the Dodge or FL badges ripped off and replaced with the 'true' ones, which is what both of mine have. The only way to get a T1N Sprinter 4x4 here is to import the parts, which is the path I chose, because the 'new' version leaves a lot to be desired: no lockers, no shift on the fly, no full-time AWD, no manual trans option, and no optional engine choice. It's all V6, autobox, electronics out the wazoo. Nope, not for me. I'm building my 2003 with the venerable 5-cyl, 5-speed, center and rear lockers, full-time AWD. :D
