Hi Karl, We recently tried to identify why some posters messages are unreadable as well as why some don’t arrive in listers mail boxes at all. Jim gave some suggestions and one part that might help you solve this I pasted below.
The digests however… If you are getting unreadable digests, try sending the following command to the listserv: to: listserv@gerry.vanagon.com <mailto:listserv@gerry.vanagon.com> subject: you can put whatever you like here, it’s ignored in the body of the message: SET VANAGON DIGESTS/NOHTML/MIME and see if that fixes the formatting for you. Karl, for the unreadable content this worked for me. I’m still missing posts so appreciate at least people leaving the original post in the reply. Currently I’m subscribed with two emails. One for posts and another for the digest. This way I can skim the digest to see what is missing. I tried looking at all my email settings, even worked with apple to look at all my provider settings and no joy, some posts just can’t get to me.
I hope this helps. Eric Caron

I can only see them when someone else responds and quote him. Otherwise all I get is gobbledygook weird text. I've tried reading on Firefox and Chrome, same results. |
