Hey, ya know who doesn't give a flyin' fig whether someone 'supports' (or not) something I did? If you can't perform it properly and direct the lube accurately into a bearing, using proper lubricants, DON'T DO IT. The 'hack' as some call it involves freeing up a stuck bronze bearing and lubricating it. That's ALL. If you end up spraying the [wrong?] lube everywhere and creating a fire hazard, well...that's on you. WHAT I DID, ONE TIME, WORKED. There was no disaster, safety issue, fire, blah blah blah. Holy moly. Use the right amperage fuse too, that miraculously helps, go figure! This is another example of why I rarely offer anyone advice or help anymore, such a wide variety of abilities that moreoften someone screws something up or I get crap about my ideas.
