Hi Alistair,

Now I tend to pride myself on knowing little details like that and I never knew that was a change.

People are going to be wondering why I’m using my talking tape measure to measure the distance between wipers, but I’m going to find out what year that change happened! Now if I can just remember the year the rear window vents showed up I’ll have some little facts to show off with.

Only thing I can think of is they come as a pair. South African and Australian Vanagons (Kombis/Transporters) definitely had mirror imaged front wipers compared to the US. I would not be surprised if the SA/Australian rear wipers were mirrors of their fronts, I just haven’t been able to find any photos to demonstrate that. >>>> >>>> >>>>> On Feb 2, 2020, at 10:45 PM, Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> wrote: >>>>> >>>>> Well, mine are.
