It is getting harder all the time for me to find a Group 41 at retail stores.

The W_marts near me don't carry that size anymore. I wasn't buying them there anyway since the quality and warranty issues seemed headed the wrong way several years ago.

The various P_boys near me just discontinued them also. They had been stocking a Bosch branded 41 that seemed to last well and that fit the compartment better than most.

I was helping a friend fix his misbehaving aux battery setup a couple weeks ago and the only place we could find that had size 41 in stock was a nearby A_zone but when we got there the "freshest" one of the 4 on the shelf was over 1 year old and the others were up to 2 years old.

At some point I may have to settle for one of the slightly smaller sizes.

Mostly laptop computer to watch DVD's, and of course internet communication; modest interior lighting; and to recharge the cellphone appropriately. Nothing fancy like feeding a Chinese Diesel heater glowplug or anything like that. It would probably be wise for me to go ahead and get a new Walmart battery though while it is easy; I mean, $100 bucks or so isn't the end of the world. Solid service these last 11 or 12 years. Easy now at home base; crummy to do when on a roadtrip. > > Rich > San Diego > >
