OK folks, to be clear:

1 Bar = 14.5 psi (can be gauge or absolute) 1 Atmosphere = 14.696 usually psia but can be psig but no one will know what you mean... 1 Bar = 100 kPa which is the common EU measure for pressure for tires 'n such When you talk about mBar, or Torr (same as mm Hg), you're typically talking in terms of low pressure, and measurement on an absolute scale not gauge while "Hg is typically gauge pressure (ie. full vacuum is 29.92 "hg).

There are a ton of other SI units out there as well. But these are the basic units.

Yup, and the pendant in me has to point out one bar is 14.7, not 14.1 psi.
