Hi folks,

I had not heard of these shocks so interested in what people say.

This list talked me through changing my own shocks a few years ago.

I was successful and found my old shocks were pretty much no longer working. Big improvement with the Bilstein HD from Van Cafe, I suspect the GW special made version.

Only a 2 WD so can’t comment on off roading but driving was improved according to my drivers.

I look forward to hearing and learning about these versions.

Eric Caron 85 GL Auto Likely getting new springs in the near future.

I can't tell any different between old OME's and new HD Bilsteins. But I haven't done any off roading with the new and very little with the old so this is highway experience really. >> >> >> >> On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, 7:53:56 PM PST, Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: >> >> >> Hi, >> >> I’ve scoured the Samba posts about subject, but I’m wondering if anyone here on list has installed the 16” Syncro version of the bilstein b6 shocks front and back. >> >> I’m going to buy new shocks, and you know I have Syncro westy ( westy conversion) and do a fair bit of fought logging road travel. I’m not entirely fixed on the billies, all stinking of the obvious old man emus, and maybe rancho or fox remote reservoir shocks. Although I don’t think I need the remote reservoir for what I do. >> >> I hope any bilstein b6 owners will pipe up. >> >> Alistair
