Hey Kyle, I’ve got a Bostig install and don’t have the issues you describe. Mine is one of the original series but there were electronics to adjust the tach. I had hooked up a Bluetooth OBD II sensor and used an app on my phone. But the sensor was always on and drew too much from the battery so I removed it. Hope this is helpful.
