You'll want to be careful around how much current the device in question
uses when it's turned off. I have a Garmin DriveAssist 51 that I have wired
in to the auxiliary circuit and it will kill my aux battery if the van is
not driven for a few days. I'm going to change it to use a circuit that is
only on when the ignition is on.
