I’m totally going on memory but for the passenger side I think that works. Plenty of wire on the inboard side.
For the Driver’s side I can’t remember as clearly but I do think there was lots of wire., even more then on the passenger side. I just can’t remember if it was inboard.
Needs to be checked but I’ll be surprised if it is a limiting factor.
If the light stick in to far to easily hinge out I’ve visualized a solution. It is pretty simple, but not that easy to describe in a post.
