So a 3" deep metal box allowed the breaker to fit using quick connects; the wire bends at each quick connect is not too bad. I did not use flag connectors.

Conveniently, the box had a hole located in same place as old one to attach the aluminium ground wire bonding thing, And, I could unbolt and turn the top and bottom box brackets to allow the box to set in flush with the cabinet. The breaker bracket braces bolted right in and holes in the box brackets lined up with holes in cabinet wood.

I tried to blow the breaker using a 1500 Watt heater, battery charger cycling on/off at "20 Amps DC" (but battery nearly charged) and 100 Watt bulb but if my math is correct, that's close to 15 Amps. In all my camping trips if I'd had the heater on high, fridge on, the old breaker would blow so I'm assuming the old breaker was borderline for some time.

Two 1500 Watt heaters should cause the new breaker to blow.

Neil.
