I see where you bought a used ECU but have not tested it. Do this. Trust me. I bought one out of a junked van at a local wrecking yard and stowed it in my Westy along with other spares from that junkyard; coil, distributor, wire set, fuel pump, alternator, etc. Decided last year to test it so got the original out and the spare installed...crank but no fire. Put the original back in and it behaved normally. Since I installed the spare alternator in a FLAPS lot a thousand miles from home, I expected the ECU to be as handy.
