Hi Alistair,
sorry to hear about this. I hope you get a lot of good advice and maybe in your sleep tonight the solution arrives. I know people that have had that happen with VW busses!
My one silly thing to suggest checking.
Even though the fuel pump is working check to see that fuel is reaching the engine.
You probably all ready did.
Have there been any reports of VW busses getting the COVID virus?
