Ken's points are well taken!

I found my body/paint guy from a recommendation by the local Auto body paint supply store. GNE Paint & Supplies in Michigan.

With older, rust buckets, we were able to keep the rust away for 15+ years thanks to a highly skilled individual who used epoxy-primer to seal out O2.

Good luck on your project!

I'm about to try my hand at body work on a very crusty bus.

Is there a dedicated group for Vanagon body work?

Thanks for any tips.
