Hi Erin,

You can’t attach photos to the emails in such a way that we all can see them. The list does not support this.

Send directly to Alistair and he can post on his blog and share the link.

Or share a link to your photos.

Eric Caron

At first it didn’t open and so I thought that maybe the curtain string was caught up, which sometimes does happen. Now that I think about it this happened the day before as well. I noticed nothing was caught up and tried to slide the door open again and then it just fell off! Am I able to attach photos to these emails? > >> On Mar 30, 2020, at 3:45 PM, Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: >> >> Erin, >> >> That’s a nasty surprise. >> >> Have a look at the vids linked in other replies, and if you can, take some pics and send to me. I have an ‘85 vanagon. Last night I got home and went to open the sliding door and it fell off! It’s only held on by the one metal clamp on the bottom door handle side now. My mechanic is closed but he said I could still buy parts from them this week if I need. I’d like to fix this on my own anyway. So I’m going to do some research. Does anyone have any suggestions? >>> Thanks everyone. Hope you’re all holding up ok >>> Erin >>
