I would say it is a happy ending with very little expense.  Alistair should
have a bit more peace of mind now that his ECU won't misbehave  during a
future trip on a remote Vancouver Island logging road or travelling through
Seattle on the I-5.  The rest of us have to consider every little bump we
run over until we have our ECUs inspected and possibly serviced.
