The biggest concern for those who remove propane is either they haven't
installed a larger enough tank to supply the installed appliances for
enough time, or are venturing into areas/countries where propane
refilling might be difficult. Propane is far cleaner burning although
btu per gallon does fall short of diesel.
Propane heaters definitely burn cleaner (especially the Propex vs
generic RV furnaces) and usually require next to no maintenance.
