En route to BBTB, dirty contacts at distributor hall caused stalling engine cut out issues. I cleaned those contacts at the Auto Zone parking lot with fine emery and contact cleaner.

At BBTB I discussed the issue with a well respected Vanagon repair tech who then mentioned a high quality $$$ cleaner he liked to use on crucial connectors. IIRC, it was stabilant-22. IOW, using that would've required less fussy work and might do a better job.
