Thanks Dan N. Good point. I recall reading, some years ago, of Syncro owners on this list comparing shock heat after wash board road. And as you mention, it's the heat I'm thinking about.

Up until today I had no idea there were mono or twin tube shocks so I consider myself to be pretty far behind on the learning curve here. LOL.

I may go with Bilstein HD or maybe XHD but that's starts to bump up the price. I'm running Gowesty zero lift progressive springs so that may factor into what shock type might work "best".
