I have vans with oil cooler from Chris Corkins (Vanistan)... it's working very well... sandwich adapter with thermostat at oil filter, cooler with fan with thermostat in passenger side rear pillar cavity... why would you think to put the cooler in the front of the van? there's a risk of oil pressure loss due to long hoses...
