Heat/venting.Make sure the gutter behind the front gill is intact.

And A-pillar:

They are open on the bottom, and then there is a nice hole behind the dash that perfectly fits for a mouse. Interior light wiring goes through that hole (driver side). You can feel/find the hole when lowering the glovebox, and putting your hand in that area windscreen/doorhinge. Hole is facing forward, and if door´s open, you might even feel a little airdraft.

At the end of the summer last year I had two mice get in during the night. They got into the insulation, among many other things, and made such a mess that I had to replace all the insulation. I am determined to avoid that this summer. I sealed up three places where they may have gotten in: I replaced the gasket around the sink drain where it exists under the floor, and I used plumbers putty around a hole where the ground cable from the house battery passes through the floor, and sealed around the lines from the AC in the closet. > > Can anyone think of any places I am missing where mice can get in? > > Dave B. > '85 Westy > Boise
