Subject: leaky windshield
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

hi all...

leaky windshield here... 6 months ago my wife's van had a cracked windshield.. she brought it to the mechanic who hired a windshield guy replacing the glass with new seal (from GW), he didn't use any sealant... and now it's leaking... (no rust around the windshield) - it leaks on the driver side corner, around the clutch pedal... the problem is the shop's more than 1000 miles from where we live... so drive it there for warranty repair is out... so here I am thinking about... I need your input for the best solution... thanks

1. hire a another glass guy to pull out the windshield and replace the seal with sealant this time. 2. hire a another glass guys to pull out the windshield and the seal put the seal and glass back with sealant this time. 2. use some sort of clear caulking under the lip of the seal ... a DYI job by myself...

thanks again

dan
