The small fan has a three pin connector and internal resistor. It uses a 30 amp fuse in position 1 for both low and high speeds.

The big fan has bolt-on connections (and needs a different fan shroud because the motor diameter is larger). It has a large external resistor mounted behind the driver side headlight bucket. It requires a heavier relay with a fifty amp strip fuse on the socket, mounted on the cabin wall forward of the fuse/relay panel and above the ground stars.

It still has the 30 amp fuse S1 -- this runs low speed and provides relay control power for high speed.
