Dear Van a Gone Jerry Cans

Several things come to mind - 1. Heat can cause the liquid to expand and the next thing you know Jerry can is weeping either into luggage rack or down side of van ( this really happened with my diesel)

2 . Heat again — you forget the Jerry can is atop bus and it gets really hot - starts to vent fumes -

3. I see Jerry fans of all nature on boats when doing a survey - most of them leave a smell in the hold — which always concerns me —

How about this - hook up a real spare under truck - use a cruise a day marine tank - these are typically vented properly —

Maybe go westy sells an auxiliary tank ?

Or Visit aN off road specialty shop and let them do a modification
