I have Wavian brand NATO cans and I love them... I have heard of some having problems with Rotopax cans separating and bursting at the seams.

I for one vote NATO style... and if you go that route, you should purchase one of these. This has made refueling from the can to the van so much easier for me.

The stock spout that usually comes with NATO style cans are their one downfall. They're horrible. This one is so much better.
