I've installed this light on about 20 vanagons now, it's FANTASTIC. It does not require a relay and can be easily installed by either building a jumper harness inside the junction box out of old/spare connectors- so NO wires get tapped into/cut, or a simple "vampire connector" on the reverse light wire. It draws almost no power, is plenty bright, and has a great field of view.

I have been very, very happy with this light.
