Just bought a pair of these. Very compact for hauling. Steel tubing, so pretty heavy duty or just plain heavy @ 9lbs.

On the chair front, I can't speak highly enough about Pico Chairs by GCI:

They're durable, pretty compact folding into a convenient rectangle shape, comfortable and have a built-in drink coaster. At $110 a pop, they aren't cheap, but I've had a pair for 10 years now and am not complaining.
