So, if the original heater hoses are not broken, don't change them? Is that
what we are saying? (And...I am not being sarcastic. I am actually THAT
naive.)
I notice that one hose is a bit puffed up, and the other is not, presumably
because one side gets higher pressure, hot supply to the rad, and the other
side gets cooler, lower pressure return to engine.
So, what would you think about swapping them around after 30 years of
service? (rad supply goes to rad return; rad return goes to rad supply).
Too clever? New heater hoses would simply be preferable?
