I only have $0.01 to add, but since I didn't see any other replies....

I have an I-4 conversion, so the exhaust isn't the standard vanagon stuff, and my experiences may not be relevant. My local shop put on a Walker muffler a year or two ago, and it's total garbage. It's a crimped design, and you can feel exhaust coming out of all seams (and condensation dripping out after a cold start). It was rattly from the start, and now makes terrible squeaks and squeals as the RPM changes.

Separately, I've been thinking about seeing if I can make the welded GoWesty cat and exhaust fit. Any experiences (or offers to give me a few measurements since GoWesty is so backed up) are welcome.

Best,

Alex
