I have those silicone intake hoses (no braided cloth) on my van installed
at the reinstall phase of the rebuild process.. the mechanic heated them up
lightly with a heat gun and sprayed some silicone lubricant on both sides
and pushed it in... I saw him doing it and it seems easy...
