Subject:      Intake manifold hose

The four hose pieces which connect the air intake distributor to the
manifold pipes - I purchased under part VWC-039-133-241 as advertised in
Cal Imports.  GoWest’s site says these are not the correct parts.

The hose has arrived fits very snug on the air distribution side - but
without really trying to jam them on they do not seem to fit on the pipe
end side.  These hoses are from Germany.  Can I heat the one end in hot
water to make it temporarily more pliable - or are these just the wrong
part altogether?

If they do fit on as intended what is the opinion on having additional hose
clamps?
