The engine in a Syncro sits lower in the body. As such the dipstick tube is longer to sit higher in front of the license plate door. This also requires a longer dipstick for the longer tube. The support bracket along with the oil fill pipe is also different. The muffler brackets, and rear engine carrier are different also. A part of the Syncro package the rear pulley gets a sand seal assembly, bell housing gets flap check at the bottom between the engine and transmission, the thermostat housing was aluminum. The transmissions, and bel housing get tube venting to get above the water line, etc. Dennis
