Subject: Syncro vs 2WD dipstick
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

hi all,

Does anyone know why there's a difference between Syncro dipstick and 2WD dipstick both using 2.1 wbx engines? https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=1686306

- Syncro dipstick is green and it has 22mm (.86") between high and low - The 2WD dipstick is red and it has 29mm (1.14") between high and low.

could it be because they to want to warn the driver of low in oil sooner on the Syncro? or the engine in a Syncro sits differently?

thanks

dan
