The last time we went campong, I plugged the fridge into 120v the day before.  I went to put a few things in it to improve thermal efficiency before turning in.  The fridge was not cold!! I checked connections and went to bed.  Morning came and still not cold.  I freaked out.  What was wrong on the cusp of an outing.  My wife took a look and noticed the thermostat control was turned down.  I said how the heck did that happen??  I'm in the  habit of always leaving it at max cool.  It works well, but Never is so cold I would want to turn it down.  My wife informed me she turned it down last at the end of the last trip.  I explained her my school of thought and it didn't take her long to see the logic of it.  It's not like the one in the house. Wow!

You found that fast.  I’m glad as it is really nice having all things in the van working well.

And, I hope you need to turn it down often!
