Hi Ben,

I think it might be time to let someone else moderate this list. There’s no reason to have your finger in every pie. You also have your own Facebook group that you started if you need a place to make the rules.

I am still on the Facebook group, but only because I am not literate enough to remove myself. I no longer follow it and it doesn’t appear in my feed, but I am technically still a member. Others may have the same situation. I left the Facebook group because I was not comfortable with your moderating. Do I have to leave this group too?

The only thing wrong with the earlier posts is that perhaps they should have waited until Friday (at the worst).

Perhaps the best solution is having a rotating moderator. That would allow for community rather than individual moderation, which is what seems to be happening.

I have appreciated your efforts over the years, but change is healthy.

Jeff

I find it duplicitous some of you in this group have to spew so much negativity, yet you remain in those Facebook groups and even maintain your own group(s). Leave FB, if you don’t like it. And if you’re not on Facebook at all, then you have no business commenting on something you don’t understand. >> >> I’m in a unique position to comment as I am still your moderator here and also on the Vanagon Owners Group (VOG). Each platform has their benefits. The one thing I like about VOG, is this sort of negativity is not tolerated and can simply be removed. Here, it goes to everyone’s mailbox. Then we each have to be tasked with deleting. Please take your hate mongering elsewhere. >> >> >> BenT >> Mod
