Hi Jim and others,

I find the history of this list really interesting and there are a lot of pieces I don’t know. I was a member early on but then was without a vanagon for about 12 years.

The email list Facebook group claims to be the Oficial Vanagon.com <http://vanagon.com/> Facebook group. And was started 10 years ago.

Now 712 members but hardly any posts recently. Still has 8 moderators.

One of you out there responded to me on the group.

So, I’m going to dig up the subscription directions for this list and post them there.

Only use I can think of for the Facebook group would be a place to post pictures and videos to go with our posts here. Our posts here go into archives and I suspect the links might continue to work for some time. It would be fun to see things go full circle and people start returning from Facebook.

Meanwhile in other areas I continue to leave Facebook.

Only a small presence left and the one Westfalia camp event group I administer with the help of a very talented Social Media Director!

If I get more pictures of the work happening on my van I might post there for members from this list to see. I might even be able to do it in such a way that you don’t need to be a Facebook member to view the contents.
