Timely topic for me. 87 Wolfsburg 2.1, dash pulled, clutch & brake pedals back in, heater box completed and back in, wipers, insulation, etc all done. So looking at what else to do while dash is pulled.

I installed a headlight relay setup years ago. I now have a fuse block installed behind the glove box, fed directly with #8 from battery. What I want to do is get those headlight relays moved out of the congested mess and over to the right side fuse block. Ground tree on right wall for relays, the bulbs have been grounded at the lights. So what do I need to do to control the relays and feed power from that fuse block to the lights? Tie in to existing wiring? Remove what and install new what?

Thanks for tips gp

Not only do relays not correct the ground or the wiring and connectors to the lamps they also do not address the complete current path from the alternator to the battery and then the battery to the vehicle loads.
