Hi Jeff,

For many of the times I used it I didn’t put a bolt in because as you said, once the slider was shut it couldn’t move.

But, if the slider opened in a accident I felt better having some bolts in place.

Also, a person could accidentally open that slider with a pull on the handle, child for example. So lock it as well!
