Hi,

No expert but with the help of Stuart on this list I purchased new fittings and the local RV shop installed them. Got rid of the old set up before it failed.

Still using my original tank but that to may change in the future. Even though low rust 35 years seems a long time to trust that tank. Turned out RV shop had everything I would have needed. I didn’t trust myself to do it. But if I did that would have been a significant cost savings. Make safe choices around propane.

I took the propane tank off the car, and they removed the old one and installed the new one. I.e., had a fitting to go over the shut off valve and a long breaker bar. > > > > On Sep 22, 2020, at 9:33 AM, Steven Johnson <sjohnso2000@GMAIL.COM<mailto:sjohnso2000@GMAIL.COM>> wrote: > > Hey Folks, > > Anybody?
