I am not a specialist on cruise control on vanagon but I have it on 2 of my
vans...
so far as I know on vanagon OEM... besides electrical wiring, there are
vacuum pump, vacuum switch under the pedals, switch on the steering column,
vacuum diaphragm linked the throttle body at the accelerator lever etc
etc...
I have a friend with an OEM cruise control on his van, he get rid of it and
replaces it with this
