My first was a 74 bus purchased for $450.00 from a professor at SUNY Albany.  I fixed up the rust a bit and put in a simple bed.  I took a summer with my girlfriend.  She could really drive, and as I’m blind she did 99 percent of the driving.  The other one percent will not be discussed on line! 

I sold it to search for a camper and purchased a 74adventure wagon, later a 76 Westfalia and then a 84 camper, and now my forever van is a 85 camper.

Before the bus was a 74 super beetle and between busses a 71 super beetle sunroof.
All were sold in better shape then I purchased them.

I often wonder about those busses, and beetles.
