Hi Steve,

first time, dash out and back in, I would reserve a good long Saturday.
Second time, the afternoon. No more antitheft screws to loosen on the
steering column. Just replace with standard hex bolts. Also, one knows
the disassembly order, like heater controls etc.
Third time...you get it, just like your fridge.

Above does not cover the heater R&R yet. Breaking those solder/molten
joints is a pain.

I am planning the same for the winter on both of my Vans.
One with the stock dash, I see no big issue there.
Second for my "fully loaded" dash with center console, Satnav, Audi
stuff, heaps of wiring. That will be a nightmare!
It´s so crammed, when the bolts come loose, it will make "pop" and burst
an inch away from windscreen. Time for a nice cleanup
