Good info Dan about the fuel filter. They are so easy to replace. Anyone know of a recommended change interval for those? I just guess...so I do about every 25K. I have a new tank, store my van in garage with mostly full tank, so water vapor condensation is nil. I don't drive dusty roads very much; but I do sometimes. Gas is from local neighborhood gas station, one of those "Top Tier" ones, I assume it's pretty good stuff. For Jamie, the bogging of motor (especially at high elevations and high ambient temperatures and running uphill) is a classic case of clogged fuel tank outlet and/or clogged fuel filter. Dennis H. embedded this in my mind!! The giveaway signal is a noisy fuel pump that crummy cavitation (bubbles) is happening; fuel injectors do not like bubbles. Neither does the fuel pump.
