To add to Neil's suggestions, I think a Boxeer engine (USA) a 2.0 Common
Rail turbo diesel would be nice but not sure about Boxeer in Europe but the
engine is from VW Jetta and Passat. I have it in my 1991 Doka syncro
replacing the old 1.9 TDi.
