Not really "train" because I don't know how to do it if it exists. I use Chrome as browser and Gmail on Mac OSX 10.13., when an email or emails land in the Spam folderI considered there's a number on the side of the Spam folder telling me I have x number email in it. I open the Spam folder, put a check mark on the one I think is suspicious and click "Delete Forever". On the one I think it's OK to keep, I click "Not Spam" and it moves itself in the Inbox. From that day on all the email from that sender will be in the inbox. Usually there are 3 kinds of spams of email: - the ones with a weird name and a letter saying "Dear Sir, I am one of the widows of Colonel Kadafi and have 100 millions in the bank and I need money to get them out..." blah blah.. hehehe... - these email never land in the Inbox - the ones from the auto-response from the sender such as " I am out of the office etc etc..." - these email land in the Spam folder till the sender comes back and send a legit email himself then it land in the Onbox. - the ones that whom never send me any email for about a year and more...

So I guess the computer keeps track on the email addresses and put my preference on it without me doing any setting.
