Looking for some list wisdom. Is it recommended to use some type of glue or grease under the gasket when installing one's windshield? Last time Dennis Haynes was in that area (dash removed) he noticed that I had a rust streak running from under my windshield gasket in the lower right corner. Common place. Windshield replaced, after an exploding tire piece hit it, about a year ago. At that time the technician said everything was clean under there. When removed this morning I found a very tiny hole close to the corner and some surface rust along part of the flange. Anything one can do to keep that from happening? Dave B. the Boston one |
