I don't use any app. to record my maintenance, I am on a Mac so I use
TextEdit ..

here an example

*07/22/2016 *at 207068 miles after Vancouver Island Trip

- oil change - 20W50 HiZinc Lucas

- oil filter

- clean air filter

- fuel filter

*NEXT : 211.000 miles + tire rotation*


and then I print this as a reminder on a laser printer, cut it out and tape
it on the driver side top corner of the windshield.
